Site MapEvery Child MattersThe Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) recognises the concept of the government's performance management principles and intends to support schools to success through a model of moderated self review. The Quality Inclusion Mark emphasis that all staff are treating pupils fairly allowing the school to increase in gaining success. The concept of the Inclusion Quality Mark can accompany all aspects of Special Educational Needs (SEN) support and can be adapted using the steps for inclusion into the learning environment enabling the Inclusion Quality Mark to play a key role in overall school effectiveness. Observed by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA) the Inclusion Quality Mark follows the Special Educational Need and Disability Act 2001 which promotes and establishes a child's right to be included into the mainstream and includes inclusion whilst listening and taking into account the wishes of the child and parent. All pupils are
to be treated the same regardless of any disability.
